How many kinds of gas are generally divided?

- Mar 26, 2019-

In general, we often use three kinds of gas: artificial gas, natural gas, LPG, and some areas have water gas, liquefied gas mixed air, coke oven gas, etc., but relatively rare. Because there is no unified gas source standard in our country, the composition of gas sources varies from place to place, resulting in a wide variety of gas sources.

Therefore, the design of gas tools sold everywhere must be matched with the local gas source.

(1) Artificial gas is codenamed R, which is a combustible gas obtained from solid fuel or liquid fuel processing. Main ingredients: Hydrogen, carbon monoxide, methane, lighter than air, toxic. Combustion speed is faster, easy to tempering. Calorific value difference is large, divided into 5R, 6R, 7R, improper selection, cooker can not be used. Artificial coal gas is transported through the city pipeline to the user's home for use.

(2) Natural gas is codenamed T, which is a combustible gas mined from a formation adjacent to an oil or coal mine area. Main ingredients: Methane, ethane, propane, butane, pentane. It is lighter than air and has mild toxicity. Burning speed is slow, I.

(3) Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is codenamed Y, which is a by-product of the petrochemical industry. Main ingredients: Propane, propylene, butane, containing a small amount of pentane, heavier than air. The combustion speed is moderate and the combustion performance is good. The calorific value is relatively high.
